Oh man...another round of school!

Well, I have been out of school for almost a year now..and I am strongly considering getting my master's in the fall. I figure if I don't do it now (while I'm single, and living at home) I will never do it! I want to just get my General Elementary Education Master's..because the thought of being a principal/counselor/librarian does not appeal to me at all! I requested information from the University of Houston-Clear Lake about the program..so hopefully once I get all the information I will be making up my mind soon!

On a better note..I only have 2 more days left of school this week! :) I have taken off Friday so that I can fly to Dallas for my Best friend Lindsey's very first bridal shower. (Hey I can't miss, I'm the MOH!) I am super excited, because I always have a blast in Dallas..and this means the wedding is near! You can't top an Aggie wedding! I am a little nervous about leaving my class with their very first sub! I haven't missed any days so far this year (surprising since most first year teachers are out a ton from sickness...especially when you teach the little ones! But I've been blessed and have been healthy as a horse..and I'm sure my daily intake of vitamin C has helped a little too :)
I am also excited because it's the last thursday of the month this week..and that means Aggie Happy Hour! This will be my first one, I have been slacking..I know...but I am pumped! Let the week continue on!
I'll end with a picture of my Bff..and bride to be :) I love her to death and feel so blessed to have met such an amazing and faithful friend like her.

The First one...

Howdy! (as we like to say in Aggieland)

This is officially my
first blog post..and I'm kind of clueless what my first blog should be about. I know that mostly Mom's do blogs, but I figure, hey, why can't a single...newly graduated...first year teacher do one too? It seems fun, I love technology..and this will feed my Macbook Pro addiction :) Also, it will be my online diary. I have so many random thoughts..this could be a great way for me to keep the organized (or at least in one place).

I had a very relaxing spring break. Although I am sad it is coming to a close...that means the sooner the school year is over! I am anxiously awaiting summer break. It will be much needed! Teaching is not as easy as I anticipated. And for anyone who thinks teaching is easy..you are seriously wrong!

I am already tired..and still trying to figure out how exactly to work this thing...so it's about time to sign off while I can keep it short and sweet. Goodnight fellow bloggers...more to come later.
